Permanent Employment – Fulltime 30 hours per week; Day, Early morning, Evening, Morning, Night, Overtime, Shift, Weekends

Onsite: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Language: English

Education: College CEGEP or other non-university certificates or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience.

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years:

  • Worksite environment: Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse, gambling, behaviour disorders)
  • Programs dealing with Autism spectrum disorder

Work Setting:

  • Group home
  • Work in employer's / client's home

  • Community centre
  • Private residence

Responsibilities:

Tasks:

  • Administrative and office activities
  • Appraise client's needs or eligibility for specific services
  • Assess client's relevant skills strengths and development needs
  • Housekeeping activities
  • Food preparation
  • Resolve conflict situations
  • Implement behaviour management programs
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients
  • Assists clients / guests with special needs.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outsings
