Job details

Location: Markham, ON

Salary: 20.00 hourly

Starts as soon as possible

Vacancies: 1 vacancy

Workplace information: On site. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work site environment: Non-smoking, Scent free

Work setting: Employer's home. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment. Work in the employer's/client's home. Public transportation is available 

 

Tasks

Supervise and care for children

Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Bathe, dress and feed children

Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Tend to emotional well-being of children

 

Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

or equivalent experience

Experience: Experience is an asset

Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children

Security and safety: Criminal record check

Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Personal suitability: Judgement, Organized, Reliability
