Personal Care Provider – Home Care

Provide care and companionship for individual during periods of incapacitation, convalescence or family disruption;

1. Administer bedside and personal care to clients such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing;
2. Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and fee or assist in feeding clients;
3. May perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of home care agency supervisor or nurse;
4. May perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds.

REQUIREMENT

Single senior (75+) seeking personal support worker to assist with general daily living and to provide primary care with on-going medical conditions.  Applicants should have medical training, but do not need to be presently licensed in Medicine Hat and should have a minimum of 5 years experience in healthcare industry.  Applicants should be organized, detailed oriented and personable.
